I'm Mariolina. Fashion designer, artisan, and founder of CKI Bags.

My journey with crochet began long before I started making bags.

I was just thirteen when my grandmother taught me my very first stitches. Some of my fondest memories are of her sitting in her favorite chair, crochet hook in hand, turning a simple strand of yarn into something truly beautiful.

That passion has stayed with me ever since.

Over the years, it grew alongside my career as a fashion designer, jewelry designer, and maker, eventually becoming the heart of CKI Bags.

My Passion

Today, I design and handcraft crochet bags created to become part of everyday life.

I don't believe in mass production. Every piece is made slowly in my studio near Milan, Italy, where I personally design each collection, carefully select every material, and craft every bag entirely by hand.

I choose high-quality fibers and pay attention to every detail because I believe true luxury lies in time, care, and authenticity.

Every bag carries my experience, my time, and the kind of passion that simply can't be rushed.

That's why no two bags are ever exactly alike. Each one reflects the value of genuine craftsmanship and the beauty of handmade work.

Every CKI Bags creation is entirely handmade using traditional crochet techniques inspired by the craftsmanship my grandmother passed on to me, reinterpreted through a contemporary and refined design.
